Consultant - Brussels, Belgium
OCO Global is a leading consulting firm in the field of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Corporate Location and Trade. We have branches in Belfast, Brussels, Cork, London, New York and Paris. Our clients include multinational corporations, public economic development agencies and international organisations - including the World Bank and UNCTAD - in over 50 countries.
Currently we are seeking a consultant to be based in Brussels (Avenue Louise).
Your key activities will include: identifying and contacting companies from European countries which plan "cross-border" investment (investor targeting) with a focus on the Benelux companies; web research on companies and investment locations; conducting inward investment trends analysis; maintaining and further developing our Benelux network of companies, intermediaries and multipliers; and reporting.
For assistance with our work we are looking for a motivated, communicative, independent and NEDERLANDSTALIGE consultant.
Requirements:
- Background in Business/Economics/Marketing sector
- Fluency in Dutch (nederlandstalig) and English required
- Good knowledge of French and additional languages is an advantage
- Resident in Brussels region (or willing to move)
- Interest in international consultancy work and inward investment
- Able to coordinate between client and other staff in overseas network
- Very strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work with deadlines and targets
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Mature, independent and proactive personality willing to take initiative
- Capacity to become our Benelux/EU expert and build an effective network

Intern - Brussels, Belgium

Currently we are seeking a Dutch speaking intern to be based in Brussels (Avenue Louise) to support our Brussels team.
Your key activities will include: research on companies and investment locations; identifying and contacting companies which plan "cross-border" investment; following EU regulations relevant to our clients, conducting market and sector research and inward investment trend analysis; following up on trade inquiries; assisting our Brussels and foreign teams; and reporting.
For assistance with our work we are looking for a motivated and independent intern with excellent communication and analytical skill for a period of 6 months starting April/May 2010.
Requirements:
- Background in Business/Economics/Marketing
- Fluency in English and Dutch (Nederlandstalig) required. Additional language is an advantage
- Multi-tasker able to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Independent and assertive personality willing to take initiative
